Heat Cover

Unabsorbing glass fibre mat with a stamped aluminum foil (thickness 0,1 mm). Underside of glass fibre mat is coated with acrylic based glue and removable plastic wrap.

Applications

  • In the engine compartment, exhaust area, catalytic converters etc. Especially in compound with the behaviour of radiation heat.
  • Also suitable for use in buses.
  • Plate size: 1000 x 1600 mm
  • Thickness: 7 mm
  • Weight: approx. 2 kg/ m2
  • Thermal stability: Long term +180 °C, radiation heat +250 °C, glass fibre +500 °C
  • Delivery: 1000 x 1600 mm plates or cut-to-size pieces
  • Fire Classification: Self-extinguishing FMVSS 302 and ECE R118; annex 6, 7, 8 and 9.
