With the combined selection of Meluton solutions and our carefully picked partner materials, we cover all possible upholstery materials one can imagine. These can be joined to backing materials using various lamination techniques to create a durable, high-quality end result. We ensure cost-effective use of raw materials and cutting of patterns with our special equipment. 

Felt Foam

Possible applications include boat roofs, dividing walls and control cabins of working machines.

Pelon Marina Upholstery Material

Pelon Marina upholstery material is designed and developed in cooperation with Finnish boat manufacturers particularly for use as an upholstery material in boats.

Synthetic Leathers

Designed for the needs of vehicle, boat and furniture manufacturers. Special qualities are developed for extreme wear and conditions.

Needle Felt

As a surface material, needle felt has good acoustic properties and is therefore suitable for use as the surface of sound insulation or speaker enclosures.

Base and support fabric laminates

We manufacture base and support fabric laminates used by the industries using textiles, such as the furniture and vehicle industry.

Other foam-fabric laminates

We laminate tailor-made foamed plastic-knitted fabric combinations of the customer’s own materials or Meluton’s materials.

Meluton was founded in a barn on the outskirts of Helsinki back in 1977. The first flame lamination solutions were designed to reduce noise, so the company was named Meluton, meaning Noiseless in Finnish. And that’s still our soundproof promise of our noise cancellation solutions.
