NUR Recycled Foam Sheet

The effective sound absorption material for dry spaces is manufactured of crushed recycled foam. Possible applications include electric motors, compressors, aggregates and control cabins of working machines.

  • Average sound reduction (30 mm thick layer) when attached on a 9 mm plywood or 6 mm glass fibre base: 29.3 dB(A).
  • Thermal conductivity (λ) 0,037 W/k.
  • Standard thicknesses 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 mm.
  • Sheets are available in all thicknesses at 1 mm intervals at request; minimum order amount 1.2 m3.
  • Volume weight 100 kg/m3.
  • Other volume weights available at request, minimum order amount 1.2 m3.
  • With or without a self-adhesive background.
  • An off-white nonwoven surface with good acoustic properties.
  • Delivered as sheets (maximum sheet size 2000 x 1000 mm) or cut to form.

Product requirements

The product meets the requirements of ISO 3795 and FMVSS 302, which means that it is self-extinguishing. The product can therefore be used as sound insulation in vehicles.
