Acoustics Days 2025 Brought Together Acoustics Experts in Lahti
Acoustics Days 2025 was held on November 11–12 at the Lahti Fair Center, offering a comprehensive overview of current topics and research in the field. Meluton participated as an exhibitor, presenting its products and connecting with professionals in the acoustics industry.
The 2025 event gathered nearly 150 participants and 18 companies. Acoustics Days annually provides an important forum for acoustics experts, researchers, and companies, enabling the sharing of new research findings and practical solutions among industry professionals. Being an exhibitor gave Meluton the opportunity to showcase its products and solutions directly to interested attendees.
This year’s program focused particularly on:
- Signal processing
- Acoustics in schools and workplaces
- Noise at shooting ranges
- Mechanical/acoustic engineering
The articles presented at Acoustics Days form a significant part of Finnish-language literature on acoustics. Strengthening Finnish terminology and publishing in Finnish is important for the development of the field. All articles are also published on the Acoustical Society of Finland’s website, allowing knowledge to reach a wider audience beyond the industry.
Meri Peltonen, who recently joined Meluton as a technical sales coordinator, describes her experience at the event:
“It was great to dive deeper into the world of acoustics and meet professionals in the field. The expert lectures were very well executed and highlighted developments within the industry. There is a lot of new research being conducted, and it was inspiring to hear insights from researchers about topics completely new to me. At our booth, we had discussions with visitors about a wide range of applications as well as the structures of our materials and the possibilities they offer.”
Acoustics Days 2025 provided Meluton with an excellent opportunity to network, showcase products, and stay updated on industry developments. We thank the organizers and all attendees for a successful event and look forward to next year.
